Fiftydallarbill, the Indiana sired three-year-old trotting powerhouse, is headed to the Canadian Trotting Classic. The Swan For All gelding was entered Tuesday, Sept. 4 in anticipation of eliminations Sept. 8. However, only 11 were entered so he will advance directly to the $665,000 Canadian Trotting Classic final slated for Saturday, Sept. 15 at Woodbine Mohawk Park outside of Toronto.

Fiftydallarbill rallied past rivals last fall at Hoosier Park to win the $600,000 Breeders Crown, closing out his two-year-old campaign for Trainer Bill Crone and Owner John Barnard with seven wins and earnings just under $500,000. The trotting colt has returned with just as much to offer in 2018, winning six of his 10 starts and taking a new career best time of 1:52.1 at Pocono Downs.
Other sophomore trotters entered in the Canadian Trotting Classic include Trainer Jim Campbell ‘s Crystal Fashion, Pennsylvania Sires Stakes champ, and Met’s Hall, winner of the Simcoe Stakes in his last start at Mohawk Park, which was on the heels of a win in the $350,000 Zweig Memorial. The Julie Miller-trained colt was also a runner up in the $1 million Hambletonian earlier this summer.
