Harrah’s Hoosier Park will be one of four locations under the Caesars Entertainment Racing program conducting “Empire of Hope” Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21. A full range of activities is planned to raise funding and awareness for racehorse aftercare programs.

Harrah’s Hoosier Park will host “Empire of Hope” Saturday, July 20 to help raise funding and awareness for racehorse aftercare programs.
Guests of the casino may donate through the popular “Give $5, Get $5” program in which each $5 donation is rewarded with either $5 in free play or a $5 race wager. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to racehorse aftercare programs, including the newly implemented Standardbred Transition Alliance.
Other activities planned for the evening include a Red Carpet Race Horse Fashion Show in the front paddock from 6 until 6:30 p.m. Both caretakers and their horses will be dressed up. Racing fans can choose their favorite and cast a vote for a $2 donation.
The evening will also include the return of harness racing’s richest horse Foiled Again. Foiled Again will be available in the front paddock from 6:30 until 8 p.m. for a meet and greet with fans with a donation. The night will be capped off by live music from Cook and Belle.
Other Caesars racetracks participating in “Empire of Hope” include Indiana Grand, Harrah’s Philadelphia and Harrah’s Louisiana Downs.
