With less than a week to go before live racing begins at Harrah’s Hoosier Park, the track and horsemen will hold the annual “Dress Rehearsal” for the next set of qualifiers set for 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 24.

Harrah’s Hoosier Park will hold a special set of qualifiers beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 24 with a horsemen’s meeting in the paddock beginning at 4:45 p.m. prior to the first race.
The special evening qualifiers will give horsemen and horsewomen the chance to get into the rhythm of racing while the track will test out necessary equipment used during live racing, which gets underway Friday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m.
In addition to the qualifying races, Harrah’s Hoosier Park will hold a pre-event meeting with all horsemen and horsewomen in the front of the Paddock beginning at 4:45 p.m. The session will be conducted by both the Indiana Horse Racing Commission (IHRC) judges as well as track management at Harrah’s Hoosier Park.
Entries will be drawn Tuesday, March 25 for the special night-time qualifiers, which have become tradition before the season opener. For more information, contact Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s racing office.
