Each year, David Wayne Yoder brings some strong candidates to the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale and this year is no different. A total of six yearlings will sell with five representing the pacing options available at the sale.

David Wayne Yoder will once again have some impressive yearlings in the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale, and will be stationed in Aisle 6 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
David Wayne Yoder kicks off the consignment with a strong entrant in Shipshe Chrome, a half brother to Indiana Sires Stakes Super Final champion last year Buzzsaw Russ. The JK Endofanera colt is the third foal from the Yankee Cruiser mare, Up Front Cruiser, who has a mark of 1:50 and nearly $500,000 in earnings. Her two-year-old this season, Cruisersfoxyjudy, has raced and has a best time of 1:54.3, making her a 100 percent producer in her young career as a brood mare.
Shipshe Crome sells as Hip No. 102 on the first day of the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale.
Another strong pacing prospect from David Wayne Yoder’s consignment is a gelding from the first crop sire Capt Midnight, who is receiving a lot of buzz since joining the stallion ranks in Indiana. Capt Cody, selling as Hip 106, is from the Jenna’s Beach Boy mare Infinite Desire, who took a mark of 1:53.0 and made more than $139,000. She has five foals, four winners and is the dam of JKs Champ, who has been timed under the 1:50 time barrier and has already earned nearly $150,000. She has also produced Infinite Warrior, who has a mark of 1:51.1 and $60,000 in earnings, showing strong speed in the maternal family. The dam is also a half sister to the standout Sheer Brilliance, who earned a mark of 1:49.3 and made more than $500,000 during his career.
Another yearling that will be getting a lot of buzz is Hip No. 265, Manwithaplan. The JK Endofanera colt is out of the mare Mystical MJ, who has a mark of 1:51.1 and earned more than $300,000. She has already produced the standout filly Layallyourloveonme, Indiana Sires Stakes winner with a mark of 1:52.3 and a race time of 1:48.3. The Tellitlikeitis filly has more than $56,000 on her card. The second dam has also produced some standouts, including Doubleshotascotch (1:51.0, $800,000), Earndawg (1:51.0, $367,000), and Foxy Fiji (1:51.4, $168,000). And the list gets better. The third dam is the dam of the great Pacific Fella, winner of more than $1 million with a mark of 1:48.2 and a former Harrah’s Hoosier Park track record holder.
Other yearlings in the consignment include Brother Toney (Hip No. 150), a son of JK Endofanera, Dont’callmeangel, a filly by Don’t Let’em selling as Hip No. 199, and Rocket Pearl, a daughter of Rockin Image selling as Hip No. 310.
