Conrad’s day started off with a win in two-year-old filly pacing action as Moscato wired the field in 2:02.2. Owned by Sarah, Carder and Carson Conrad along with Michael Allen, Moscato, a homebred daughter of Always a Virgin, earned a new career best in her second win of 2019.
Moscato was joined by stablemate Donttellmetosmile, a winner in the final division of two-year-old pacing fillies. Conrad guided another gate to wire winner, this time in 2:03.0. Also owned by Sarah, Carson and Carder Conrad, Donttellmetosmile, a daughter of Tellitlikeitis, was making only her second career start and earned her first career win in the effort.
As the focus shifted to two-year-old trotting fillies, Conrad earned his third win on the day with Meet The Mrs. The Guccio filly owned by Sarah Conrad, fended off her opponents on the front end with a win in 2:07.0, her first career trip to the winner’s circle.
Conrad picked up another win in the two-year-old trotting filly ranks with a catch drive for owner-trainer Bonnie Mattingly. Just for Us, a daughter of Guccio, held her ground on the inside of J-S Miss Ruby and Alex Udell, eventually taking over the lead and trotting home to a win in 2:04.2.
The final winner for the day for the Conrad Stable came in the three-year-old filly pacing ranks. Play to the Crowd paced home in :30 seconds flat to score the win in 2:00.3. The Always A Virgin homebred filly earned her first win of 2019 and also earned a new lifetime mark in the effort for owners Sarah, Carson, and Carder Conrad.
