Harrah’s Hoosier Park has posted its first round of special racing events online. The 2020 Harrah’s Hoosier Park Claiming Challenge is now available through their website.

A total of 15 events are listed with all series open to the world. All entry fees are added to the purse of the final, with sixth through last receiving $200 in the elimination and $750 in the final. The events will kick off on opening night Friday, March 27 with the Sycamore, the Iron Lady, the Sapphire, the Uno Mas Modelo, the Catholic Cowboy and The Diamond, all for pacers divided by fillies and mares and horses and geldings. If no elimination is required, then only the horses that entered the elimination will be eligible to enter the final. The lowest final goes for $20,000 with the highest final associated with the opening night claiming series going for $27,500. There are also series for trotters offered in the claiming challenge.
Finals for the preliminary events set for opening night are slated for Friday, April 3. The claiming series stretches trough Wednesday, April 8. Entry fees for the claiming challenge range from $300 to $500.
