Black Creek Farm based in Grabill, Ind. will have 15 entrants ready for the upcoming Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale Friday, Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21. The consignment has a good mixture of trotters and pacers, including a filly from the first crop of hot new Indiana sire Capt Midnight.
Nightdividestheday will sell as Hip No. 332. The filly has a strong maternal side with the first dam, Keystone Diamond, a daughter of Somebeachsomewhere. She has two foals of racing age and the two-year-old, Five Smooth Stones, has been race timed in 1:55.1. The second dam, by Western Hanover, has a lot of black type in her foals, including Keystone Dash (1:50.0, $255,000) and Keystone Dakota (1:50.2, $233,000).
On the trotting side, Black Creek Farm has several nice prospects, including Pro Bono Muscle, a son of Helpisontheway. The dam, Muscle Baby Doll, has a mark of 1:52.0 and nearly $400,000 on her card as a racehorse. She has also produced Muscledover with a mark of 1:52.4 and more than $100,000 on his card.
