Black Creek Farm of Grabill, Ind. will have 21 yearlings for the upcoming Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale. The farm is well versed in breeding options from their yearlings, including several from first crop sires in 2021 Helpisontheway and Check Six.

Black Creek Farm has 21 yearlings featured for the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale Friday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 23. The yearlings are included on a two-page spread of the October issue of the ISA Magazine.
The Black Creek Farm consignment will kick off with Hot Lava, an Always a Virgin colt selling as Hip No. 7. The colt is a first foal from a Somebeachsomewhere mare with a mark of 1:51.1 and earnings of nearly $400,000.
New stallion Check Six will have several offered in the Black Creek Farm consignment, including Six in One, selling as Hip No. 152. The colt is a brother to Always a Gentleman, who has a mark of 1:55.1 and was timed in 1:53.3. His third dam is the mother of JK Endofanera, showing the depth of his breeding.
Several trotters will be offered by Black Creek Farm, including Swan’s Dude. The colt, by Swan for All, is a brother to Grand Circuit placed Swan for Vito, who has a mark of 1:56 and earnings of nearly $50,000. Swan’s Dude is also a brother to Swanda Rhimes, who was raced timed in 2:00.2 and his freshman full brother, Swanaffair, was timed in 2:05 this season. Swan’s Dude sells as Hip No. 224.
Black Creek Farm will be selling out of Hall D at the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale. The farm offers pre-sale inspections by calling (260) 750-2781. Videos on most of the yearlings are also available through the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale Website along with Trackit pedigrees. The farm does not accept Sunday calls regarding the yearlings.
