Members of Black Creek Farm will be busy during the upcoming Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale set for Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, oct. 24 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. They are preparing 13 yearlings for the sale, seven trotters and six pacers.

Black Creek Farm will offer 13 yearlings in their consignment at the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale. They will offer several from first crop trotting sire Dover Dan.
Kicking off the consignment at Hip No. 4 is Watch This Dan, a son of first crop sire Dover Dan and the second foal out of Watch the Rhythm, who has a mark of 1:54.4 racing on the Canadian circuit. Another foal by Dover Dan that will capture a lot of attention is Serene Moment, a filly who is a first foal from Ontario Sires Stakes standout Anaffairtoremember. The mare took a mark of 1:53.2 and made more than $600,000 during her career before joining the broodmare ranks. Serene Moment sells as Hip No. 93.
On the pacing side of Black Creek Farm’s consignment, a nice colt by Rockin Image will be featured as Hip No. 147. Rockindude, selling under the farm as an agent, is a full brother to Grand Circuit and Indiana Sires Stakes elim winner Rock the Look, who took a mark of 1:50.3 at four and has more than a half-million in earnings. The family also includes Halie Shark, who has in excess of $243,000 with a career best time of 1:51.2 taken at the age of three.
