A special Benefit Chili Ride has been set up to benefit Indiana trainers Jennifer Redmond and Tom Luther. Redmond and Luther had a devastating barn fire at their farm Oct. 30 which claimed the life of four of their horses along with equipment and supplies. A raffle was recently held on a Premier jog cart donated by Midwest Harness Supply with all proceeds going to Redmond and Luther.
The Benefit Chili Ride is set for Sunday, Nov. 27 from 12 until 5 p.m. All motorcyclists will meet at the Indiana Hill Campgrounds, located at Prairie Creek Reservoir in Selma, Ind. The ride will go to 6400 S. 560 E. Road in Selma, Ind. at Prairie Creek Reservoir North. The Reservoir is located southeast of Muncie Ind. and the event is slated for the Camp and Eat Boatique on the east side of the Reservoir.
Chili will be served along with a Euchre Tournament, which will be conducted from 1 until 5 p.m. Donations will also be collected for Redmond and Luther in addition to the money raised from the benefit ride.
RSVPs are appreciated for those planning to ride and join in on the event. For more information or to RSVP, contact Lori Anderson at (317) 515-2495 or Hanna Gilkison at (765) 810-5303.
