Beckhams Z Tam, the standout pacer from the Jamie Macomber Stable, will stand at stud in 2021. The son of Always a Virgin is set to stand at Royal Equine Acres in Topeka, Ind. for a fee of $1,500.

Beckhams Z Tam, 2017 Breeders Crown champion, will stand his first advertised season at stud in 2021 at Royal Equine Acres for $1,500.
Now six, Beckhams Z Tam catapulted to fame when he was a winner in the 2017 Breeders Crown Championship at the age of three. With Ricky Macomber Jr. in the bike, he rolled by favorite Downbytheseaside for the win in the $527,500 event. Beckhams Z Tam retired with miles in 1:50 or faster 19 times and miles in 1:51 or faster 38 times. The Indiana divisional champ also showed extreme final quarter speed, pacing home in under 26 seconds five times during his career. He retired for Z Tam Stables with $800,074 in career earnings and a career best time of 1:49.0.
A small crop of yearlings is now in training in 2020 with eight registered foals, five of which are colts. Beckhams Z Tam was bred to eight mares in 2019 with four foals registered as weanlings in 2020. He was also bred to eight mares in 2020 for foals to arrive in the spring of 2021.
