After months of preparation, Indiana breeders are primed and ready for the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale. A preview was held from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 and the first horse will walk into the sale ring at the Indiana State Fairgrounds at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25. The two-day sale has 370 cataloged but with six outs, a total of 364 yearlings will be offered at auction.

The Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale gets underway Friday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. followed by another full sale day Saturday, Oct. 26.
Several top pedigrees are offered in the sale plus the exciting arrival of several new stallions for 2019. Numerous foals by JK Endofanera and Mr Web Page will be offered and are mixed in with some of the state’s hottest established sires such as Always A Virgin, Rockin Image, Swan for All and Mr. Cantab. Other sires represented in the sale include Bluto, Class Included, Jailhouse Jesse, Guccio, Shadyshark Hanover, Aracache Hanover, Whom Shall I Fear, Real Desire, Time to Roll, Riggins, Panther Hanover, Pilgrim’s Chuckie, Here Comes Herbie, Valentino, Tellitlikeitis, Panspacificflight, Pinetucky, Big Stick Lindy, ABC Garland, Straight Shooting, and Waldorf Hall.
Both sale days will get underway at 10 a.m. Many of the individual consigners will have videos available in their aisles of yearlings for sale. Videos are also available online at the sale’s Website at hoosierclassicyearlingsale.com.
For buyers who are still searching for yearlings, the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale will hold the third annual Michiana Classic Yearling Sale Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Michiana Event Center in Shipshewana, Ind. Sale time is also listed at 10 a.m. Pedigrees for the Michiana Classic Yearling Sale will be available beginning Friday, Oct. 25.
